Stakeholders to the Programme:

  • Participants:  Participants shall be drawn from the ten Yoruba speaking states viz: Oyo, Osun, Lagos, Ogun Kwara, Ondo, Ekiti, Kogi, Edo and Delta States. The girls shall be between the ages of 18 – 28 and shall be restricted to those who are already in higher institutions of learning or graduates.

 

  • The Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture:  This is the regulatory and approving authority which is in charge of registering the programme as a government recognised instrument for the promotion of our culture and tradition.  The Ministry is also in charge of tourism and all affiliated agencies thus, making the programme not only a socially viable project but an avenue to earn foriegn currency through the influx of visitors and dignitaries to the occasion.
  • Sponsors:  The project shall have some major and minor sponsors.  The minor sponsors shall include the print and electronic media, fashion outfits, the ten participating state governments through their Ministries of Culture and Tourism, established musicians with strong cultural messages, and as well as all well-meaning Nigerians who are interested in promoting our cultural heritage.

 

Major Sponsors shall include big corporate organisations, multi nationals and any other corporate/private organisations who want to identify with the project.

  • Consultants:  These shall include cost and financial consultants to the project, press and media consultants, legal consultants, marketing consultants, security consultants as well as screening advisory, selection and award consultants.

 BENEFIT TO SPONSORS AND PARTNERS

            OMIDAN O’ODUA International Beauty Pageant Reality Show, has been well crafted and developed as a brand that will ensure and become commercially viable for corporate interaction and business transaction.

Partners and sponsors will benefit immensely from the massive publicity, promotional programmes and hypes on Nigeria’s national television, radio network and international media.

  • Promotion of event title status.
  • Dominant position on all event electronic advert i.e. radio jingles and television promos from preliminaries to the grand finale.
  • Name and logo of organization or product on posters, handbills, billboards, stickers, merchandise and souvenirs.
  • Name and logo of organization or product on the backdrop and other signage at the venue of the event during live network coverage across Nigeria, Africa and other international countries.
  • Name and logo of organization or product on scatch cards, newspaper and magazine adverts.
  • Name and logo of organization or product on packaged documentary of event
  • Advert spaces are available on the event brochures.
  • Advert spaces on the official website and other mass

Entry Qualifications:
To qualiy for participation in Omidan O’Odua project, one must fall into the under-listed specifications:

  • Must be an indigene of one of the participating states
  • Must be between the ages of 18 – 28 years of age
  • Must have at least a secondary school leaving certificate

 4)     Must be well within the specified physiological dimensions. 
 5)     Must purchase a scratch card with which to log onto the website and supply necessary needed data.

Selection and Registration:
Selection and registration for the programme shall follow the following specifications:

  • Interested candidates to purchase program scratch cards from accredited distributors and or banks.
  •  To log on to the programme website and supply necessary data including:
    • Pin code
    • Receipt No
    • Purchase point
    • Hieght
    • Complexion
    • Body weight
    • Age
    • Name
    • Phone Nos
    • Name and Address of Parents / Guardian
    • Local Government Area
    • State of Origin
    • Institution/school attended
    •  Year of entering & leaving
    •  Special Medical History (if any)
    • A Statement of Personal Ambition in Life (not more than 300 words hand-written)
    • Letter of Consent by Parent / Guardian
    • Etc

Candidates who are ultimately selected would be contacted to forward hard copy evidences to support the data provided above on or before a given date at a specified location within each competing states/zones.   Registration forms (and other project kits) shall be provided to all the participants after which all completed application forms must be returned, same day, to the co-ordinator at the particular state/zone.
